Frequently asked questions
Our mission is to develop young athletes with aspirations of success by helping them overcome athletic, personal, academic, and professional challenges, and mentoring them to become role models for the next generation.
BCAC uses multiple facilities throughout the year, including:
St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic Secondary School
Dennis Fairall Fieldhouse & Indoor Track (University of Windsor – Toldo Centre)
Malden Hill, Ojibway Park, and Nature Complex
Fees are due on the day of registration and are non-refundable.
Payment methods: cash, cheque, or credit card through the AthleticsReg system.
Post-dated cheques are only accepted for full-year fees.
NSF payments will result in a $20 charge plus any bank fees. Training is suspended until fees are paid in full.
BCAC closes on major holidays and may adjust training over Christmas break and March Break (announced via website, social media, WhatsApp, and email).
Training may also be cancelled in winter due to poor weather. Please check communications before heading to practice.
No make-up sessions or refunds are offered for weather cancellations, though BCAC may try to reschedule when possible.
Arrive 15 minutes early, prepared to train.
Show respect to coaches, teammates, and staff at all times.
Avoid coarse or disrespectful language.
Encourage teammates and maintain a positive attitude.
BCAC is strictly drug, alcohol, and tobacco-free.
Parents must remain in the stands during training unless invited by a coach or in case of injury.
Yes. Athletes must wear appropriate training attire:
Girls: full coverage shorts and tank top or t-shirt (sports bras must be covered).
Boys: tank top or t-shirt with proper shorts.
All athletes: proper running shoes and spikes. Any athlete wearing inappropriate attire may be asked to change before continuing practice.
Yes. All athletes are required to purchase and wear the current New Balance BCAC uniform package for competitions. An online store with BCAC apparel (t-shirts, sweaters, jackets, etc.) is also made available at certain times of the year.
Meet Fee: Covers coaching, accommodations, transportation, and related costs.
Event Fee: The registration cost per event entered.
Fees must be paid two weeks before a meet and are non-refundable (exceptions at BCAC’s discretion).
All athletes attending a meet must pay both meet and event fees, regardless of whether parents provide travel or accommodations.
All athletes must follow the BCAC Training Code of Conduct.
A curfew of 11:00 pm will be enforced.
Boys and girls are not permitted in each other’s hotel rooms.
Athletes under 16 will be supervised overnight by gender-appropriate BCAC staff.
Any conduct violation may result in being sent home at the parent’s expense.

Yes. BCAC often takes photos and videos during training and meets for promotional purposes on social media and marketing materials. By signing the registration form, you agree to allow this use.
