WHERE WE STARTED
The Border City Track Club Originated in the 1900s. This club was formed and forged as an elite club by the legendary Dennis Fairall. Border City Track Club was home to 1996 200m Olympian, O'Brian Gibbons, and decathlete Mike Nolan, who placed 10th at the IAAF World Championships.
In 2013, the club was rebranded by head coach Kurt Downes as the
Border City Athletics Club.
WHERE WE ARE TODAY
Today, Border City Athletics Club is represented internationally by our many elite athletes. We pride ourselves in knowing that wherever athletics takes them, our athletes have the tools, knowledge and confidence to succeed.
